BBrake Motors
Brake motors are used on conveyors, machine tools, speed reducers, door operators and hoists which require quick stop. Raptor Supplies offers a wide variety of brake motors from brands like Lesson, Baldor and Marathon Motors. These brake motors offer braking as a safety measure when power is cut abruptly. Leeson brake motors feature drip proof / totally enclosed fan cooled / totally enclosed non-ventilated enclosures to ensure protection from dust, water and air-borne contaminants. Selected models use Polyrex EM lubricant to resist oil & water leakage at higher temperatures. These motors deliver speed up to 1800 rpm and allow both round as well as rigid mounting for smooth installation. Marathon brake motors are equipped with ball bearings to provide low motor friction and prevent lubricant leakage. These motors are capable of being operated up to an ambient temperature of 40 degrees F and deliver speed ranging between 1101 & 1800 rpm. These brake motors are available in 1 and 3 phase options on Raptor Supplies.
