Baldor VBM3538 short-series brake motor is employed on conveyors, machine tools, speed reducers, door operators and hoists requiring a quick stop. It provides braking as a safety measure when power cuts abruptly.
Features:
- Baldor VBM3538 general purpose brake motor is manufactured for quick stop & hold operations in hoists, conveyors, door operators, speed reducers, machine tools, rolling mills, cranes and textile / printing machinery.
- It features a totally enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) configuration for resistance against dirt and damp conditions and steel construction for withstanding tough job site abuse.
- This motor has ball bearings for decreasing rotational friction and supporting both radial and axial loads.
- It also offers automatic and manual thermal protection for eliminating overheating hazards.
