  • They come equipped with TENV / TEFC / DP enclosures to prevent the ingress of contaminants.
  • Leeson 3-phase drip-proof brake motors have a power-off manual release for user convenience in case of power failure. Their drip-proof enclosures ensure protection from dust, water & air-borne contaminants. These NEMA Design B units offer premium Class B / F insulation for temperature control. They feature continuous duty operation at speeds up to 1800 rpm.
  • Leeson washguard brake motors feature a C face with a base design for easy installation and alignment with the driven equipment. The base provides stability and support during mounting. They offer Polyrex EM lubrication to resist oil & water leakage at temperatures up to 40 degrees C.

Working Mechanism

  • When the motor is powered, the brake is disengaged, allowing the motor to operate as usual.
