Bussmann KTS-S Series class RK1 fuses are ideal for preventing overcurrent conditions in electrical circuits. They feature a fast blow out mechanism for quick response time and instantaneously interrupt the circuit when an overload or short circuit occurs. These fuses are used in conjunction with a holder that has a voltage rating of 600VAC or 600 VDC.

Class RK1 Fuses
The branch circuit rated fuses are extremely current limiting and provide a quick response to the current inrush and overload conditions; thereby ideal for use with motors, transformers and circuit breakers. These UL Class fuses allow selective coordination with consistent 2:1 ampacity ratios and clear the fault without damaging the protective device (fuse). Raptor Supplies offers a wide array of Bussmann and Ferraz Shawmut fuses available in blade and cylindrical type body styles. BussmannClass-RK1 fuses feature dual-element construction with a time delay of 10 seconds (minimum) at 500 per cent rated current. These fuses also allow 130% FLA sizing and are therefore suitable for providing safe back-up protection. The current limiting mechanism protects the downstream components against thermal and magnetic effects of current surges. The reducer fuses by Ferraz Shawmutprovide 2:1 selectivity for preventing nuisance shutdowns and blackouts. These units feature a rejection style design for preventing replacement errors when not used with recommended fuse blocks and a high visibility orange label for ease in brand recognition. They are available in 250 and 600 VAC variants with a maximum interrupting rate of 200000A, on Raptor Supplies.
