Dayton capacitor-start jet pump motors are used to power commercial, industrial, centrifugal and hydraulic pumps. The capacitor-start allows motor to generate higher torque at low speeds for heavier loads. These 60Hz, single-phase motors feature open drippoof enclosures, shaft slingers and gasketed conduit boxes to protect against moisture and contamination. Jet Pump Motors
Jet pump motors are used for drawing water from wells. Raptor Supplies offers a wide variety of jet pump motors from Leeson, Baldor, Dayton and Marathon Motors. Leeson pump motors are designed for use in conveyors for food and material packaging applications. These motors come equipped with a TEFC or DP enclosure for protecting internal parts of the motor from dust & rain, and offer both rigid & round mounting options for easy installation. With a maximum speed of 3600 rpm, they are capable of withstanding ambient temperatures up to 40 degrees C. Dayton open drip proof face mounting jet pump motors are equipped with ball bearings to ensure low friction and minimum lubricant leakage. Featuring keyed & threaded shafts, these motors deliver nominal efficiency up to 77.9% and can be operated up to an ambient temperature of 40 degrees C. Working Mechanism
- These motors feature a magnetic coil that is driven by either single or three-phase power input depending upon the motor structure.
