Working Mechanism

  • The circuit breaker stays in the 'on' position when the electrical circuit is functioning normally to allow electricity to flow through the circuit.
  • In case of an overload or short circuit, the circuit breaker trips (opens) & interrupts the flow of electricity, protecting the circuit from damage & reducing the chance of an electrical fire.
  • After the issue has been resolved, users can reset the circuit breaker by pushing the breaker handle to the 'on' position, restoring power to the circuit.

  • They have a thermal-magnetic trip unit that provides both time-delayed and instantaneous protection.
  • These MCCBs have a interrupt capacity of 200kAIC at 240VAC & 100kAIC at 480VAC.
