Submersible Sump Pumps

Dayton submersible sump pumps are used to pump slurry and excess water from flooded basements or work sites. These pumps feature housing made of cast iron / polypropylene / stainless steel / aluminium for low friction, high flexural strength and corrosion resistance. They are equipped with SiC / Buna-N / CRB / CMC seals for watertight, oiltight and dustproof sealing. These sump pumps deliver speeds up to 3600 rpm, have a maximum load capacity of 300 lb, and are available in 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 & 3/4 hp variants.

Working Mechanism

Submersible pumps push water to the surface by converting rotary energy to kinetic energy and finally to pressure energy.
The rotation of the impeller pushes the water through the diffuser, and from there, it goes to the surface.
