Heavy Duty Hydraulic Door Closer
Norton hydraulic door closers are designed to automatically close doors to prevent them from staying open. These aluminium or bronze door closers feature an arm mechanism for adjusting the closing, sweep & latch speed and back check for reducing the momentum of the door while closing. Norton 7500 Series CloserPlus arms can withstand moderate winds and abuse. Norton pot-belly door closers are equipped with a combination of traditional styling and modern closer features and are available in all closer sizes within a single size aluminium alloy shell. These door closers have two springs that are needed to accommodate the complete range of door sizes, with one clock spring being adjustable to meet the force requirements for closer sizes 2, 3 and 4 while the other larger spring can be adjusted to meet the closing force for sizes 5 and 6. These springs are very powerful and provide an additional 50% power increase over the minimum closing force for the largest size in their range and are capable of accommodating power adjustment according to the environment. The adjustable clock coil spring provides a small incremental increase or decrease through a wide range of closer powers and can be adjusted according to the power requirements of the installation. Sweep speed, latch speed and backcheck cushioning of these Norton pot-belly door closers can also be adjusted to door, frame and other variable conditions.
