Backdraft Roof Dampers

Dayton backdraft dampers are designed for regulating airflow in one direction and preventing reverse airflow in exhaust or intake HVAC systems. These units feature galvanised steel frames with aluminium blades that allow air to pass through the exhaust ducts while preventing unwanted flow of air into the facility when the exhaust fans are off. These blades also have a felt seal on the leading edge to provide greater protection from weather conditions and offer quiet operation. They come with pre-punched conduit holes for easy installation and can be mounted in both vertical or horizontal positions. Choose from a wide range of these backdraft dampers, available in 7-3/4 to 61-3/4 inch heights.

Dayton damper backdrafts are suitable for use in ductwork, roof curbs or wall collars when using a fan or power roof ventilator. The blades of these dampers are provided with a felt seal on the leading edge for superior protection from the weather and are spring supported to permit blades to open comfortably. Dayton damper roof mounts are isolation dampers or backdraft dampers that provide airflow in one direction and stop reverse airflow.
