Martin 5V Series Hi-Cap wedge stock sheaves are used in power transmission systems, such as belt-driven applications. They feature a solid, one-piece design for increased durability & strength, a 3-groove system to accommodate up to three belts running simultaneously and QD (quick detachable) bushings to allow easy installation & removal without disassembling the entire drive system. These sheaves are made of Class 30 grey iron with maximum tensile strength and speed of 30000 psi & 6500 fpm, respectively. They are suitable for use with 5V cross-section belts and are designed to handle high power loads & torque, unlike standard sheaves.

Martin Sprocket 3V Series wedge stock sheaves are ideal for belt-driven systems to ensure efficient power transfer, even in high-torque applications. They feature a 6-groove design that allows 6 belts to grip and transfer force while minimising belt slippage. These sheaves further utilise a taper bushing system that enables the sheave to be quickly mounted and removed. They have cast iron construction, providing excellent resistance to wear, corrosion and high temperatures. Selected models feature a webbed design (with spokes) to connect the hub to the rim of the sheave for improving flexibility and ventilation during the operation.
