Hose Reels, 30000 Series

Reelcraft 30000 Series hose reels store, wind and unwind hoses to protect them from damages and are used in chemical industries, auto & fleet service centres and construction sites. They have powder-coated, heavy-gauge steel construction for structural strength and corrosion resistance. Raptor Supplies offers these hose reels with an electric motor-driven rewind to automatically wind extended hoses back on the reel or with a direct hand / bevel crank for winding the hoses manually. Choose from a wide range of these hose reels to hold 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 inch internal diameter hoses.

What are the different kinds of hose reels?

There are two main types of air hose reels - storage and continuous flow.

How do you retract a retractable hose reel?

To start retraction the user needs to give the hose a small tug. If pulled too far, the hose will lock again rather than retracting. To shorten the hose, start retraction, then once at the required point, stop and walk back to lock it at the new length.

How do you fix a retractable hose that won't retract?

The operator needs to adjust the spring tension by adding wraps to the hose. Stretch out approximately 10 feet of the hose. Hand feed hose back up through roller bracket assembly until the loop is extensive enough to slip over a sheave. Add two or three wraps until the required tension is attained.
