Watts thermostatic mixing valves regulate the water temperature by mixing cold and hot water simultaneously. Watts valves are used with boiler and tempered water systems for in-floor radiant heating, soil heating, emergency shower and municipal water processing applications. These thermostatic mixing valves allow the water heater to operate at higher temperatures, extending the effective system flow rate at the valve output. This feature increases productivity. Watts mixing valves are made of lead-free copper silicon alloy to facilitate excellent manufacturing capabilities for forging, casting & machining material stocks. Watts thermostatic mixing valves reduce the size / BTU requirements, providing capacity for peak system demands. These UPC-listed valves deliver a maximum flow rate of 23 gpm and are capable of withstanding temperatures & pressures up to 160 degrees F & 150 psi, respectively.
