Dayton 5600 Series end mount disc brakes are designed to stop the motion of conveyors, packaging machines, hoist end trucks, booth gates and more by holding loads. They are ideal for power transmission applications. These continuous-duty brakes feature manual release lever to prevent accidental movement. The open drip-proof, NEMA 56C enclosure ensures reliable operation in harsh conditions. They can be easily mounted on a 56C motor flanges. Dayton magnetic disc brakes are designed to stop conveyor and belt systems in power transmission applications by inhibiting their motion. They are powered by a continuous duty, single phase brake motor with a double c-face magnetic disc, capable of producing a stopping torque of 15 ft-lb. These brakes have a manual release lever to prevent accidental operation and feature NEMA 182 / 184TC frame w/ drip-proof enclosure.
