Q. How to install the long barrel?
A.
- Select the appropriate connector based on wire construction, material and size.
- Strip the insulation to the appropriate wire strip length.
- Wire brush the bare conductor to eliminate any oxides. However, do not wire brush the tin-plated connectors.
- Insert the conductor into the barrel for the full length.
- Apply proper number of crimps.
- Once all crimps have been completed, the connection can be easily inspected for proper installation.
