Altronix NetWay1XP can be connected to both PoE and non-PoE devices (using accessories) like PoE cameras, fixed IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points & networked audio devices in offices and commercial & industrial spaces.

Features:

• Altronix NetWay1XP single-pole injector comes with a TP2450 plug-in transformer to deliver 24VAC or 24VDC input power & 1.5A current.
• It has a PoE port (RJ45) that supplies power and transfers data to devices through an ethernet (CAT5) cable.
• This IEEE 802.3at (30W) and IEEE 802.3af (15W) compliant port offers a maximum power rating of 30W at a supply voltage of 48VDC.
• It can transfer data and power up to a distance of 100 m.
• This power injector is equipped with various safety features like short circuit protection, PoE manual shutdown (for UL 60950-1 application only) and auto-detection & protection facility of legacy non-PoE cameras / devices.
• It is equipped with LED indicators: red for port status and yellow & green for IP link status.
• This midspan injector has a compact insulated housing for minimising space requirement while installing or operating.

• Altronix NetWay1XP midspan power injector is CE marked (European Conformity) and UL & cUL listed to ensure superior performance and user safety.

Installation:

• Altronix NetWay1XP injector is securely mounted on a wall using a fastener and / or wall anchors.
• Then, the marked terminal [24VAC/VDC Input] is connected to a UL-listed Class 2 transformer using 22 - 16AWG wire for supplying the input power.
• Two structured cables are used to link the [IN] port to a UL-listed ethernet switch or a video server and the [OUT] port to the PoE device.
• Port status LED lights up to indicate normal operation & secured connection.
• To begin PoE shutdown, a voltage in the range of 12 to 24VAC or 5 to 24VDC is manually applied to the [Power Shutdown] marked input terminal. This mechanism stops the output power supplied by the power injector.
• The NetWay1XP unit starts supplying power normally to PoE compliant devices once the applied voltage is removed from the shutdown terminal.
