Electromagnetic Lock Power Supplies

Altronix open frame transformers are used to power heavy electronic equipment such as security, access control & surveillance devices. These step down transformers reduce voltage and increase amperage output proportionally. They are fitted inside steel angle frames for easy mounting on terminal blocks, rail terminals and stud connections. Altronix AL300ULX Series power supplies are used for converting a 115VAC, 60 Hz input into 1 / 4 / 8 / 16 fused or PTC protected outputs. These power supplies feature steel / phenolic / fibreglass construction for mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. They are integrated with a built-in charger for gel or sealed lead acid batteries and provide thermal overload & short circuit protection. They switch automatically over to stand-by battery in case of AC failure and are capable of being operated at temperatures ranging from 32 to 120 degrees F. They are available in enclosure heights of 13.5 & 15.5 inches.

Altronix eBridge EoC port receivers are designed for auto detection & protection of legacy non-PoE cameras / devices and transmit data & power over coax cables in PoE compliant formats. They are powered by UL-listed power sources, as well as connected by RJ45 & auto-crossover ethernet connectors for compatibility & additional protection from harsh environments. These receivers are integrated with LED indicators through which controlling & viewing data logging becomes easy. They can operate at temperatures ranging from -20 degrees to 49 degrees Celsius. The throughputs are rated to pass at least 25Mbps up to 500 meter distance and requires Cat5 wire cables for high transmission of speed.

Altronix EoC hardened transceivers are designed to transmit data over Coax cables and provide power in a PoE / PoE+ compliant format to an enabled device / camera. These units feature a plug and play feature to facilitate hassle-free installation. Selected models can support up to two PoE or PoE+ cameras / devices or a single Hi-PoE (60W) device. They also feature built-in IP management for remote camera reset, monitoring and reporting via various IP protocols.

Altronix ReServ video surveillance UPS units are used as emergency power backup for running cameras during power outage, as well as maintaining camera synchronisation. These units feature a combination of multiple AC & DC PTC ports, producing true sine wave outputs rated 24VAC @ 4A and 12VDC @ 2A. They are equipped with rechargeable lead acid or gel batteries, a built-in charger and an automatic switchover feature to stand-by battery when AC fails. The LED indicators and audible alarm provide notification of failure / trouble.

Altronix backplanes are ideal for trove enclosures that accommodate & easily integrate power supplies / chargers with mercury power boards, access controllers & sub-assemblies. They feature galvanised steel construction for ease of inspection, tough coating & corrosion resistance and include mounting hardware for easy installation. Further, these backplanes simplify wire management & board layouts, as well as minimise labour costs & installation time.

Altronix midspan power injectors are used for connecting a network camera, IP phones and a wireless access point to a network switch. These injectors help the existing network to support PoE and offer auto detection & protection of legacy non-PoE cameras or edge devices. Selected models feature LINQ technology for remote & local access to critical information via LAN or WAN with secure socket layer (SSL) security encryption.

Altronix passive UTP transceiver hubs feature integral camera power to transmit UTP video, RS422 / RS485 data and power over a single CAT-5 or higher structured cable. These hubs feature individually selectable 24VAC or 28VAC PTC protected outputs with surge suppression to protect from voltage spikes. The video transmission range is up to 750 ft per channel. They are compatible with AC and / or DC fixed or PTZ cameras when utilising Altronix HubWayAv, HubWayAv2, HubWayDv or HubWayDvi video baluns / combiners.

Altronix NAC power extenders / supplies are cost-effective, voltage regulated, remote power extenders for notification appliance, circuit expansions and provide auxiliary power to support system accessories. They feature steel construction to reduce oxidation on the exposed surfaces and can connect to any 24V volt fire alarm control panel (FACP). These CE-approved extenders have 2-wire sync modes, allowing audible notification appliances (horns) and visual notification appliances (strobes) to be silenced or deactivated simultaneously. Additionally, they offer ground fall detections for preventing damage to the electrical components and the signal circuit, trouble memories help identify intermittent loop problems. These power supply devices utilise sealed, lead acid or gel type back up batteries for excellent heat conduction and the common trouble inputs or outputs for external, trouble signal tie-ins. These LED indicators turn on / off while carrying electricity and are available in 6, 8 & 10A output current ratings.

Altronix power distribution modules are used for powering electromagnetic locks and installing / repairing electromagnetic door locks. They feature steel / phenolic / fibreglass construction for mechanical strength & resisting corrosion on exposed surfaces. These power distribution modules are integrated with LED indicators to show AC input & DC output. They provide relative humidity up to 85% (+/- 5%) and can be operated at temperatures ranging from 0 to 49 degrees C.
