Working Mechanism

  • These ED Series moulded case circuit breakers incorporate both fixed thermal and magnetic trips.

Fixed Thermal Trips

  • Fixed thermal trips are based on the heat produced by the circuit's current flow.
  • The trip unit contains a bimetallic strip sensitive to temperature changes.
