REED Instruments R2450SD data logging thermometer is ideal for recording temperatures, up to 3092 degrees F, either manually or automatically at the desired sampling rate from 1 to 3600 seconds. This data logging thermometer comes with a beaded wire probe, a soft carrying case & batteries for use in medical, educational, R&D, pharmaceutical, food service and environmental monitoring applications.
Features:
- REED Instruments R2450SD data logging thermometer displays up to 4 separate temperature measurements in an easy-to-read backlit LCD using Type K, J, R, S, E & T thermocouples and RTD probes.
- It can manually record up to 99 readings and automatically store data in real-time using an SD memory card.
- This data logging thermometer can measure current temperature, temperature differential (T1-T2) and maximum & minimum temperature to quickly produce an Excel file without using any software.
- It has a data hold function to freeze the reading (on display) and a user-selectable temperature unit scale (degree C / degree F).
- This data logging thermometer has a low battery indicator & an auto shut off mechanism (after 10 minutes) for saving battery life.
- It uses 6 AA batteries or an AC adapter for powering the unit.
- This data logging thermometer is operated at temperatures ranging from 32 to 122 degrees F (0 to 50 degrees C) and humidity less than 85% RH.

Q. How to measure the difference between two temperature measurements in this REED Instruments R2450SD data logging thermometer?
A.
- Insert two thermocouple probes in the unit's T1 & T2 input jacks or two RTD (Pt100 Ohm) probes in the PT1 & PT2 input jacks.
- To view the temperature difference between the probes, hold the 'T1-T2' button for 2 seconds.
- Press & hold the 'T1-T2' button again for 2 seconds to resume normal operation.
Q. How to record maximum & minimum readings in this REED Instruments R2450SD data logging thermometer?
A.
- Enter recording mode by pressing the REC button. The 'REC' icon should display on the LCD. The meter should now start recording maximum & minimum readings.
- Press the REC button once to display the maximum value as indicated by the 'REC MAX' icon.
- Press the REC button again to display the minimum value as indicated by the 'REC MIN' icon.
- Press & hold the REC button for two seconds to exit the recording mode & resume normal operation.
