• The unit includes two sets of a foam tape to prevent scratching of truck during installation.
• To do so, peel off the backing, then place the foam gaskets on the back of the toolbox on both sides to add enough padding for scratch resistance.
• Now position the toolbox on the back of the truck bed, ensuring plenty of clearance between the lid and the window.
• The unit comes with standard J bolts for quick fixing of the toolbox.
• Ensure that the unit is centred and then mark the mounting hole locations for installation of J bolts near the lip of the truck bed & inside the toolbox.
• Now drill holes with a 3/8 drill bit and secure the unit with the J bolts flat washers & hex nuts using a 9/16 wrench or ratchet.
• The toolbox is now ready for storing dozens of tools and equipment.
