Q. What is the significance of the crossover design of these boxes?

A. The toolbox (also known as cross-bed or saddle box) has a crossover design with wide top flanges for mounting the unit on the truck's bed rails. This leaves additional space under the box for cargo storage. It features easy-to-use locking capabilities on the driver's side for quick locking / unlocking of the box.

Q. How to install the crossover box?

A.

• The crossover box includes two sets of foam tape to prevent scratches on the truck when it is mounted for installation.
• Peel off the backing and place the foam gaskets on the back of the toolbox on both sides to add enough padding for scratch resistance.
• Position the toolbox on the back of the truck bed and ensure that there is plenty of clearance between the lid and the window.
• Mark the mounting hole locations for the installation of J-bolts (included with the kit) near the lip of the truck bed & inside the toolbox.
• Drill the holes with a drill bit and secure the unit with J-bolt flat washers and hex nuts using a wrench / ratchet.
• The toolbox is installed and ready for storage of tools & equipment.
