The compact and portable Gast 2AM-NCC-16 air motor offers variable operating speed and power output that can be adjusted to meet any preccise applications. The air throttling and pressure control of this motor are not only cost effective over electric motor controls, but they also can be stalled or overloaded for long periods without causing any damage. In addition to being a non-electrical device and cool running, this Gast air motor is ideal for use in hazardous and extreme ambient temperature locations.
Gast air motors can operate in any position offering great degree of flexibility when mounting the air motor or integrating the air motor into an OEM system. Imperial units are available in foot, hub and NEMA 56Cmounting options. Metric units are available in IEC #72 mounting frame sizes. The ability to instantly start, stop and reverse (RV models) eliminates the operational delays associated with electric motor speed up and slow-down periods.
