This U hook style latch clamp is used to repetitively open & close doors and lids during latching, moulding and assembly operations. The clamp is mounted perpendicular to the latch surface for pulling workpieces. This clamp is ideal for holding workpieces that are perpendicular to the mounting surface. This latch clamp is made of steel for providing strength and reducing breaking / bending / clamp failure under heavy loads. The clamp attains the locked position by moving the handle to place the clamping pull bar around the opposing latch and pressing it down towards the opposing surface.We also offer Destaco 334 Series pull action latch clampshaving a maximum holding capacity of 1000 lb and exerting force to applied force ratio of 31:1.
