Uses:

Altronix NetWay1D can be connected to PoE cameras, fixed IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points & networked audio devices to provide PoE, PoE+ and Hi-PoE in offices, commercial buildings & industrial spaces.

Features:

• Altronix NetWay1D injector is powered using a grounded AC line cord to deliver 115VAC (60Hz, 1.2A) or 230VAC (50 / 60Hz, 0.75A) input power.
• It has two RJ45 PoE ports to connect 4 pair CAT5e or higher efficiency cables, one from video server and another towards IP cameras.
• The [Out] port of the device transfers data to PoE devices at a data transmission speed of 10 / 100 / 1000 Mbps.
• This IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at & Hi-PoE compliant port provides a power rating of 15, 30 & 60W, respectively.
• It can transfer data and power up to a distance of 100 m.
• This devices also offers an Aux. Class 2 power limited output rated at 56VDC / 60W for replacing legacy analog devices with new IP devices / cameras over existing coax cables.
• It is equipped with various safety features like surge protection, auto negotiation and auto detection & protection facility of legacy non-PoE cameras / devices.
• This midspan injector is equipped with LED indicators, such as red for port & PoE status and yellow & green for IP link status.
• It operates at temperatures ranging from -30 to 50 degrees C (at 30W power) and -30 to 40 degrees C (at 60W power).

• Altronix eBridge Plus receivers can be used to pass Aux. Class 2 power limited output from Altronix NetWay1D power injector over coax cable to an enabled IP camera / device .

Installation:

• Altronix NetWay1D injector is securely mounted on table or desktop in indoor locations.
• Then, a grounded AC line cord (included) is plugged into the IEC 320 connector of the NetWay1D unit using a reliable earth grounded socket. A receptacle controlled by a switch should not be connected to the power supply of the unit.
• Two structured cables can be used to connect the [IN] port to a UL-listed ethernet switch or a video server and the [OUT] port to the PoE device.
• Port status & PoE On LED indicators will illuminate once the PoE device is turned on.
• The devices requiring auxiliary power are linked to the marked terminals [+AUX??.
