- Larson Electronics explosion proof lighting can accept 120 to 277VAC electric supply at 50 / 60 Hz. They may also accept DC supply.
- These fixtures are lighter with a slimmer profile for producing more light than traditional explosion proof fixtures.
- They can be installed on walls, wall corners or on specific equipment.
- Selected models further feature an emergency ballast for illuminating one bulb even after the light is severed. After the standard electrical power is restored, this emergency battery pack gets automatically recharged.
- Some explosion proof lighting fixtures can be dimmed using dimming controllers.
