These motors are totally enclosed to protect internal components from dust and moisture. The shafts of Dayton washdown motors are made up of standard / 303 / 300 Series stainless steel to ensure resistance against scratches and corrosion. These motors are equipped with ball bearings for reducing friction and are capable of being operated up to an ambient temperature of 40 degrees Celsius.
