How to install well nuts?

• Drill a hole of the same size as that of the rubber portion's diameter into the installation material.
• Slide the well nut insert into the drilled hole till only the nut's flange is visible. Drill a hole in the material being attached as well.
• Line up the two holes and insert a machine screw with a washer into the threading of the well nut.
• When the machine screw is tightened into the well nut, the washer pushes down on the rubber flange to prevent it from turning, while deforming it on the installation surface to ensure strong holding force.

What are the benefits of using a jack nut?

• These nuts can be fastened without distorting softer / thinner materials.
• They can fasten securely in slightly oversized holes or uneven surfaces without burrs.
• These jack nuts can be installed / removed easily.

How to install jack nuts?

• Choose an appropriate manual / pneumatic tool or specialised jack nut installation tool.
• Thread the bolt into the jack nut and drop this assembly into a pre-drilled hole after slotting them in the tool.
• Squeese the tool until the fastener is set. Press the release lever and press the tool again to complete the installation.
• When the user tightens these nuts, their body collapses on the blind side to form legs that securely grip the mounting surface inside, leaving a permanent & reusable threaded insert.

What are the advantages of a blind threaded insert over other nut inserts?

Blind threaded inserts need to be installed from only one side, providing installation and a strong bond. They also have ribbed walls to offer strength, production efficiency, durability and versatility under load.
