How to change the seal in these flow sights?
- For ease of assembly and disassembly, clamp an end cap onto the sight glass body ferrule.
- Secure capped end in the bench vise.
- Using the proper hex key, remove the top cap set screw.
- Using the Dixon wrench (supplied), rotate the sight glass top cap clockwise for assembly or counter-clockwise for disassembly.
- Lift off the top cap to expose elastomers and glass insert.
- Inspect components and replace them if necessary.
- For assembly of the sight glass, tighten the top cap to compress elastomers until they begin to protrude inside.
- Install a set screw.
