• These units are available in both horizontal & vertical variants.
• Vertical band saws keep the blade's passage in a stationary mode (while feeding the workpiece) for maintaining a uniform cutting action.
• They are capable of offering greater torque levels than cordless tools and feature a rack-and-pinion blade guide adjustment, a cast-iron table & an adjustable rip fence for making a precise angular cut, even on hard materials.
• Selected models of vertical band saws come equipped with a 4-leg stand for maintaining structural rigidity and an LED readout (4TK02) to display operation progress.
• Horizontal band saws come with blades having a reinforced tooth design & evenly distributed tooth load for uniform cutting, even on irregularly shaped or curved items.
• They incorporate a swivelling head for angled cuts and a cooling system (on some models) to keep the machine & blades at an optimum working temperature.
• Selected Dayton horizontal band saws come equipped with a flood coolant system / coolant pump (having a hose) for cleaning waste chips & cooling the saw blade.
• They have a direct-drive gear box or step pulley drive train with variable speed settings.
• P3 band saws have uni-welded frame architecture for reduced vibrations and deflections. They feature an electrical suitcase having interlocks on the doors and a work light.
