These saws, while feeding the workpiece, are designed to keep the blade's passage in a stationary mode for maintaining a uniform cutting action. Capable of offering greater torque levels than cordless tools, Dayton corded vertical band saws feature a rack-and-pinion blade guide adjustment, a cast-iron table and an adjustable rip fence for making precise angular cut, even on hard materials. Selected models further come equipped with a 4 leg stand for maintaining structural rigidity and an LED readout facility to display the operation progress.
