This drum deheader works like a heavy-duty can opener, pressing a sharp blade into the drum’s edge and cutting cleanly around the inside rim. As it cuts, it also flattens sharp edges for safety. This Wesco drum deheader is perfect for repurposing old drums for storage or utility. It is designed to open steel drums easily with a comfortable grip handle. Wesco 272018 drum dehader's angled blade offers optimum penetration and does not leave a sharp edge on the drum. It also features a vice-grip style mechanism to securely attach the unit to the drum.
