Palmetto Packing PE1000 packing seal or gland seal is designed to seal a variety of fluids. It is used to contain solvents, gases, water, acids, oil and other chemicals that are subdued to different pressures and temperatures.
Features:
- Palmetto PE1000 compression packing seal is used to secure dynamic equipment from fluid leaks in high-pressure and abrasive slurry applications.
- This interwoven braided packing seal is made from Zenar (Palmetto's patented material) comprising Aramid and a coating of ultra-pure graphite particles & polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) to provide abrasion resistance, high tensile strength and thermal conductivity.
- It comes with an inert lubricant that improves packing life by decreasing break-in time and frictional heat.
- This compression packing seal operates at a temperature range of -400 to 550 degrees F.
