Palmetto 1389 packing seal or gland seal is designed to seal a variety of fluids. It is used to contain solvents, gases, water, acids, oil and other chemicals that are subdued to different pressures and temperatures.

  • It features oriented virgin ePTFE yarn heavily loaded with super-pure graphite powder that soaks lubricant, withstands harsh chemicals and disperses heat.
  • It comes with an inert lubricant that improves packing life by decreasing break-in time and frictional heat.
  • This compression packing seal operates under a broad temperature range (-400 to 550 degrees F).
