Destaco 630-MR straight line action clamp can be locked with the plunger in a fully extended or fully retracted position. It is suitable for pull / push clamping applications. This clamp applies clamping force sideways rather than from the top, to secure the workpiece in applications having space constraints. It can accommodate load ratings up to 2500 lb. It is equipped with a lever handle that engages the plunger to press against the workpiece & hold it in place while tensioning devices, fixturing, welding, testing, plastic injection molding, CNC machining, assembling and staking or light press working of industrial equipment. Besides locking in the extracted position, the unit allows handle rotation and the handle falling below the mounting plate to be locked in the retracted position.
