Dayton 2GTD4 electric chain hoist is ideal for faster lifting / lowering of loads with the help of drums wrapped with chains. This 15 feet hoist has an electric motor and pendant controller for lifting / lowering and accelerating / decelerating the hoist speed.

Q. How does an electric chain hoist operate?
A. Electric chain hoists come with an induction motor and a brake to ensure the load is held when lifting (enabling heavy objects / loads to be lifted safely). The motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy which can then lift the load / weight.

A. The three different kinds of chain hoists are manual, air and electric. The manual and the air hoists are manufactured with hook pivots, reduction gears and swivels. These tools normally hang from a top hook or are moved cautiously and slowly while adjusting the height by a push or geared trolley.
