Allegro 9518-08 Venturi blower produces a large volume of air suction for extracting toxic or explosive gases and discharging them out through a large, galvanised exhaust cone. This pneumatic Venturi blower is ideal for creating positive pressure in a tank by using clean breathing air to provide a safe environment for the workers to enter the tank. It also eliminates accumulated welding fumes & smoke from shipyards, underground areas or manholes to prevent explosions. It is used to efficiently cool down workers & heavy equipment before maintenance & repair during extremely hot working conditions.
Compatible Accessories:
- Allegro 9518-08 Venturi blower can be used with retractable, non-collapsible ducts (sold separately) to channel air from the diffuser to the desired location. These ducts have PVC coated vinyl & polyester construction for light weight and temperature resistance up to 180 degrees F. The ducts work best when pressure is driven using a blower or inline fan.
- Raptor Supplies can also deliver replacement grab handles & grounding lugs for replacing old, worn out or faulty parts of the Venturi blower. The grab handles are used to carry the unit from one place to another, whereas the grounding lugs provide a grounded connection to prevent short circuiting or explosions.

Allegro 9518-08 Venturi blower is attached to a standard / statically conductive duct that is manufactured in accordance with ASTM 227 standard for high tensile strength & durability.
Installation:
- Allegro 9518-08 Venturi blower has 3 or 4 mounting holes for quick installation on tank openings.
- The blower is connected to a ground connection on the tank through a ground wire.
- The blower is then attached to a compressor or other compressed air sources through a hose, to supply compressed air or steam.
- Now, the Venturi blower is ready for extracting gases and fumes out of the tank and discharging them through a large, galvanised exhaust cone.
