Marathon Globetrotter close-coupled pump (CCP) motors are used with close-coupled pumps in commercial and industrial pumping applications. These motors come with oversized, locked and shaft-end ball bearings for smooth operation and extended service life.

- They come with an open dripproof enclosure to allow free airflow over the windings to prevent motors from overheating.
- These units feature an external slinger to keep the bearings protected from moisture and contaminants.
- They feature horizontal / shaft down orientation to allow proper lubrication with every stroke for reducing seal wear and inhibit corrosion.
- Models, such as GT400, comes with a three-phase design to offer a maximum speed rating 1800 rpm at 60 hz.
- They come equipped with a steel conduit box for encasing wire connections safely to prevent accidental contact.
