Working Mechanism

  • DC contactors work by using an electromagnetic coil to control the flow of electric current through a set of contacts.
  • The coil is energized by a DC voltage, which creates a magnetic field that pulls a movable contact towards a fixed contact, closing the circuit and allowing current to flow.
