Vickers Eaton Danfoss PCS4-16 Series flow control valves provide a pressurised compensated flow of general-purpose hydraulic fluids. These pressure compensators are ideal for motor or cylinder control where prioritised flow is required.

Working Mechanism

  • These valves are used with either a fixed or variable orifice on port 4 to maintain a constant flow out of port 3, regardless of downstream pressure changes.
  • All flow over the priority requirement is bypassed from port 1 to port 2.
  • If the priority port is dead-headed, valves direct the flow out of the priority port and shut off the bypass flow.
