DQC Vep-Bop Series

Dixon DQC Vep-Bop Series couplers are suitable to seal blow-out preventer (BOP) systems on drilling rigs by preventing the uncontrolled escape of fluids, such as oil or gas during drilling. They are equipped with an PTFE anti-extrusion ring for preventing the main coupling valve seal against dynamic impulse pressure. These threaded plugs are made of solid steel for high ductility and thermal resistance. Their Bop coupling seals have been fire tested to 700 degrees C.
