38LF-100 Series Atmospheric Type Vaccum Breakers
Apollo 38LF-100 Series atmospheric-type vacuum breakers are used in water supply systems to prevent backflow and protect potable water from contamination. These vacuum breakers are installed in plumbing systems, irrigation systems and industrial applications where there is a risk of back-siphonage. When water pressure drops, these devices automatically open to admit air, breaking the vacuum and preventing the reverse flow of non-potable water into the clean water supply. They feature bronze construction with polished chrome finish for resisting corrosion on exposed surfaces. These vacuum breakers can be operated at pressures up to 125 psi.
