Features

  • These flexible hoses allow easy routing, vibration absorption and sound reduction. They easily accommodate the movement of connected components as compared to rigid tubing.
  • They offer a double-ply braided reinforcement made of steel that provides more stiffness than rubber lines, offering durability, better heat dissipation and smooth flow.
  • These hoses come with nitrile / PVC cover to provide superior resistance to mineral oils and fats while reducing compression.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the triple crown advantage?

Eaton Aeroquip Series hoses offer the triple crown advantage to resist pressure surges, high temperatures and abrasion in demanding applications, thus extending the life of the hose.

What type of hose fittings are compatible with Eaton 2-ply hydraulic hoses?

Eaton 2-ply hydraulic hoses feature TTC (Through-The-Cover) type fittings for providing easy identification for crimping the hoses to attain an oil-tight seal.

How to maintain these hoses?

  • These hoses should be stored in a dry place.
  • They must be inspected regularly for any sign of cut or gouge in the cover which may lead to spraying fluids, flying projectiles and other substances. The damaged unit must be changed immediately.
  • They should be checked for kinking or broken reinforcement. If the outer diameter is reduced by 20 per cent at the spot where it is bent, then the hose should be replaced immediately.
  • Inadequate attention to the maintenance of the hose can result in hose leakage, bursting or other failures which can cause serious bodily injury or property damage.
