Transformer cooling fans are heavy-duty, weatherproof fans suitable for accelerating the cooling process in oil-cooled electrical transformers. Dayton cooling fans allow transformers to deliver greater powers while maintaining required temperature and safety. They circulate air around the exterior of the transformer's radiator as oil works to dissipate heat and decrease the operating temperature of the transformer. The fans are equipped with a motor which rotate the fan blades to create airflow and a guard to save the blades from damage and prevent injuries from accidental contact.
