Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of tachometers from brands like Dart Controls, Extech, Mitutoyo, Monarch, Reed Instruments, Shimpo, Starrett and Westward used for measuring the rotational speed of a shaft or disk in a motor. The device displays the revolutions per minute (RPM) on a calibrated analogue or digital dial. Reed Instruments tachometers are ideal for measuring both the RPM (revolutions per minute) in rotational equipment and surface speed m/min (meters per minute). They feature a built-in laser pointer to help identifying the target area and an LCD screen which displays test results and the unit of measurement. These tachometers further come with a cone contact adapter, a funnel contact adapter, a surface speed wheel, four AA batteries, reflective tape, instructions and a carrying case. Extech tachometers faciltate taking safe, non-contact RPM measurements (2 - 99999 RPM) of rotating objects just by pointing the integral laser (1.6 ft target distance) at the reflective tape placed on the object to be measured. These tachometers come equipped with a memory button for recording last, MAX and MIN readings.
