Suction Line Accumulators
Suction accumulators prevent liquid refrigerant flood-back to the compressor, typically used on heat pumps, transport refrigeration systems, low-temperature supermarket refrigeration systems. These Parker suction accumulators are equipped with protective screens and orifice assembly on U-tubes saving them against contaminants affecting metering function. The fittings and U-tubes are coordinated to accumulator holding limit and absolute framework charge for minimum pressure drop and maximum refrigerant flow.
