Working Mechanism

  • Ceiling-mounted air conditioners draw warm air from the room through a grille.
  • The warm air passes over evaporator coils filled with refrigerant.
  • The refrigerant absorbs heat from the air and then cools it.
  • A fan inside the unit blows the now-cooled air back into the room.
  • The heated refrigerant flows to an outdoor unit, where it's compressed, causing it to release the absorbed heat.
  • The heat dissipates into the outside air while the refrigerant returns to the liquid state.
