Val-Matic butterfly valves are used to start, stop and regulate the fluid flow in both low- and high-pressure pipelines, chemical processing plants and sewage treatment facilities. These flanged valves feature a disk-shaped closing mechanism to ensure fluid shutoff via an actuator and ASTM A126 rated cast iron construction providing vibration damping and wear resistance. These AWWA Class 150B standard butterfly valves can be operated at temperatures ranging between -32 and 210 degrees F and withstand water pressures up to 150 psi.
