Working Mechanism

  • Mount the unit loosely on a panel or switchboard and tighten it using screws, washers & nuts. Make sure that the accessory wirings can be reached.
  • Install an optional terminal end cover and then connect the terminals to the accessory leads. Install the terminal shield & interphase barrier if required.
  • Finally, check all the hardware to finish up the installation.
  • Switch the circuit breaker On to pass current through the contacts.
  • When a fault or issue is detected, these contacts move away from each other and trip the unit.
  • Users should first troubleshoot the issue before resetting the breaker.
