Watts LF150A water hammer arrestor is designed to control water pressure shocks or prevent water hammer occurrences in dishwashers, washing machines and quick-closing faucets.

Q. How to install the unit in water pipelines?

A.

• Install as close as possible to the source of shock.
• The unit is factory pre-charged to 30 psi. If the system pressure is higher than 35 psi, add air until the valve is 5 psi below the system flow pressure.
• Avoid damaging the arrestor by using hex flats to tighten.
