Features:
- The jacket is composed of ceramic fibreglass compound to withstand high temperatures up to 2000 degrees F and offers good resistance to abrasion and chemicals.
- It includes straps and a buckle system, allowing easy adjustment or added extension for a secure fit.
- Straps and buckles can withstand temperatures up to 1000 F, creating a perfect fit when combined with insulation jackets.
- UniVest insulation jacket is used in plastic processing, gas pipeline compressor stations, oil and gas extraction, chemical plants, pulp & paper mills, brick manufacturing, incinerators and more.

Q. What is the purpose of PTFE fibreglass fabric?
A. This fabric is an asbestos-free woven fibreglass fabric impregnated with PTFE resins. It is further coated on both sides with pigmented Teflon, offering resistance to chemicals. PTFE has a stiff feel and has excellent abrasion, tear and puncture resistance.
Q. What are the straps & buckles made of?
A. Straps & buckles are spun using fibreglass yarns to provide excellent stiffness and nickel steel roller buckles allow easy fastening around the equipment.
Q. How to install this UniVest 1302 insulation jacket on a cylinder?
A.
- Keep this UniVest insulation jacket on the cylinder with the cold face (green side) facing up.
- Tighten the straps and buckles to secure the insulation jacket on the cylinder (do not overtighten).
- Once all the straps are buckled, the jacket will start insulating the cylinder.
