Q. How is a locking gasket installed?
A.
- Lubricate the locking gasket with a mixture of soap and water.
- Do not use fluids that can damage the panel / gasket.
- Rest the glass in the locking gasket to install it.
- Use a knife or plastic blade for preventing glass breakage.
- The window / windshield pops into place when the lip is fully over the glass.
- Lock the gasket and use a screwdriver / gasket locking tool.
- Slide the tool around the edge of the gasket and lock the seal.
- Clean the surface with a rag to remove any remaining lubricant.

A. 0.145 inches.
